Jean Louise Osgerby was the daughter of Jabez Kaleb "J.K." Osgerby and his second wife Reine M. (Torrey) Osgerby. She was born in Vassar, Tuscola County, Michigan and died in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska at the age of 1 year, 9 months, and 1 day. She was buried in a cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska, but her remains were later moved and re-interred on the Osgerby lot in Block B, Sec. 1 of Riverside Cemetery in Vassar, Michigan.

Also buried on this lot are Jean's parents J.K. and Reine M. Osgerby; J.K.'s first wife E. Lusettie (Hathaway) Osgerby; Jean's half-sister Lela Elizabeth Osgerby; Jean's half-brother C. Fenton Osgerby; Jean's grandparents John Thomas and Elizabeth (Gaunt) Osgerby; and Jean's uncle, William Osgerby.

OSGERBY BABY DIED IN NEBRASKA

Little Jean, the year old daughter of Professor and Mrs J.K. Osgerby, of Lincoln Nebraska, died of cholera infantum last week, Wednesday and was buried Friday afternoon. Their many friends in Vassar will sympathize with the bereaved parents in the loss of the baby girl who was a bright and promising child.
