Violet Barry Henderson Simril is buried at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery Rock Hill SC. Her first husband was John Henderson, after his death she married James Simril on 11 Feb 1762 in Rowan Co., NC

Violet had a brother named Hugh Barry. Hugh's widow filed a court petition in York Co., S.C. that lists his living legal heirs. Daniel B. Troublefield published a transcription of the court records in The Quarterly for the YCGHS in Rock Hill.
