Fond du Lac Daily Commonwealth, Thurs. Nov. 7, 1912, p. 5:4. DEATH OF A PIONEER. Mrs. Christina Reichling, Resident of the County for 67 Years, Dies at Taycheedah. Mrs. Christina Reichling, a well known pioneer resident of Taycheedah, passed away at the family home in that village at 11 o'clock Tuesday evening. While her health had not been what is considered good for the past several years, her last illness was of only a week's duration and her death comes as a great shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Reichling was born in German March 12, 1842, and came to this country in 1845, settling in this county which has been her home continuously for 67 years. She is survived by five sons, Nicholas, John, Peter and Henry of Taycheedah, and George of Fond du Lac, and one daughter, Jennie, residing at home. She is also survived by one brother, Frank Abler, of Milwaukee. The funeral will be held from the family residence at Taycheedah at 9 o'clock Saturday morning and from St. Peter's church in the same place at 10 o'clock. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

The funeral of Mrs. Christina Reichling was held at 9 o'clock this morning from the Taycheedah residence, and at 10 o'clock from St. Peter's church, St. Peter, Rev. Father Bernadine officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. The bearers were Charles Bintz, George Sable, Nicholas Gilgenbach, John Feyen, John Nett and Joseph Ditter. Out of town people attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Kolb, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Biegel, Mrs. Henry Surges, Miss Elizabeth Abler, Phillip Odenbrett, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hartzheim, Jefferson; Mrs. Catherine Eggers, Mrs. Peter Eggers, Eden; Joseph Abler, Fond du Lac.
