Commonwealth Reporter, Sat. Aug. 26, 1950, p. 16:1. COUNTY NATIVE EXPIRES AT 88 IN RURAL HOME. Nicholas Reichling Dies In Taycheedah; Rites To Be In St. Mary's. Nicholas Reichling, 88, a lifelong resident of the Town of Taycheedah, died unexpectedly at 5:30 a.m. at his home. Born June 15, 1862, the son of Antoine and Christina Reichling, he was married to Katherine Dinauer, who died June 13, 1933. Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Joseph Reichling, Fussville, and Frank, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Beau, Calvary, and Mrs. Germaine Heus, Marytown; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers and a sister, John and Henry, and Miss Regina Reichling, all of the city. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Zacherl funeral home, where the body will be in state after 2 p.m. Sunday, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church. Burial will be at Holy Cross cemetery, Mt. Calvary.

Funeral services for Nicholas Reichling, who died Saturday, were held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Zacherl funeral home and at 10 a.m. St. Mary's church, with burial at Holy Cross cemetery, Mt. Calvary. The Rev. Joseph Reichling of Fussville, son of Mr. Reichling, was celebrant of a solemn requiem mass, assisted by the Rev. Andrew Hauer of Milwaukee, as deacon, the Rev. Anthony Beyer, Clyman, as sub-deacon, the Rev. Raymond Fox of St. Mary's as master of ceremonies. Seated in the sanctuary were Msgr. Kelley, Milwaukee, Msgr. Lederer, Campbellsport, the Rev. Henry G. Riordan, pastor of St. Joseph's church and the Rev. Carl Eschweiler, Menomonee Falls. Fr. Eschweiler delivered the sermon. Also assisting at the mass were the Revs. John Stehle, Leroy, Louis Schmidt, Milwaukee, Robert Anthony, Eden, A.W. Biwer, Campbellsport, Joseph Rosch, assistant at St. Joseph's, William E. Cox, assistant at St. Patrick's, Robert Kircher, assistant at St. Mary's and the Rev. Frs. Ziegler, Sheboygan, L. Keppler, of Verona, Morgan, Menomonee Falls, and Jordan, Sheboygan. Pallbearers were Norbert Simon, Herbert Stephany, Clarence Fitzgerald, Henry Bintz, Edward Steffes and Robert Fagan. Among those from away attending the services were Srs. M. Prolata, M. Alexia and M. Altena, Sisters of St. Francis at Fussville, Mrs. Peter Dinauer and Loyal Dinauer, Milwaukee, and Miss Florence Baltes, Menomonee Falls.
