Commonwealth Reporter, Tues. Feb. 10, 1959, p. 20:4. Retired Area Farmer Dead At Age of 85. Henry Reichling Expires In Hospital; Rites To Be In St. Mary's Church. Henry Reichling, 85, of 101 Ledgeview avenue, a retired farmer, died at 5:10 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes hospital after a short illness. Born May 22, 1873, in the Town of Taycheedah, the son of Antoine and Christina Abler Reichling, he farmed there until he retired and moved to the city. Surviving are a sister, Regina Reichling, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Reichling was a member of St. Mary's church and the Holy Name society. Friends may call at the Zacherl Funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be there Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Peter's church cemetery at St. Peter.

Commonwealth Reporter, Thurs. Feb. 12, 1959, p. 26:1. Funeral services for Henry Reichling, who died Monday, were today at 9:30 a.m. at the Zacherl Funeral home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church. A solemn requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev. Henry A. Maurer, assisted by the Rev. Louie Biersack, O.F.M. Cap., Mt. Calvary, as deacon and the Rev. Roger Zens as subdeacon. Seated in the sanctuary were the Rev. Joseph P. Reichling, Fussville, a nephew, and the Rev. Emil Schneeweis, O.F.M. Cap., and the Rev. Gratian Zach, O.F.M. Cap., Mt. Calvary. Pallbearers were Ralph Heus, Roger Tilman, Frank Reichling, Herbert Mueller, John Gabel, and Urban Sippel. Burial was in St. Peter's church cemetery at St. Peter. Out-of-town persons attending the services were from New Holstein, Charlesburg, Eden, Milwaukee, Mt. Calvary, and Fussville.
