Carol Geraldine Mullin Rice, 83, of Delphi, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010.

Born Dec. 27, 1926, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Daisy Berkshire Mullin. She lived in Carroll County all of her life.

She married Charles Rice on Aug. 17, 1952, in Camden. He died in 1993. She worked on the farm with her husband.

Mrs. Rice was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Delphi and Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Catsiff (husband: William) of Bridgman, Mich., and Mary Rice Chapman (husband: Michael) of Delphi; and a sister, Martha Spencer of Anderson.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Evelyn Mullin of Lafayette; grandchildren, Sharna, Shane and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Dane, Alicia, Caleb Shaun, Shelby and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews and their families. Preceded in death by brothers, Donald and David, and sisters, Nancy, Amy and Adriene.

There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held Monday. Interment Camden (Ind.) Cemetery. Memorials: National Aphasia Association, 350 Seventh Ave., Ste. 902, N.Y., N.Y. 10001. Arrangements entrusted to Cree Funeral Home, Camden.
