Donald Harvey Mullin, 84, of rural Lafayette, died unexpectedly at 8:06 AM Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, in the St. Elizabeth Medical Center emergency room, apparently of a heart attack. Born May 16, 1913, near Rockfield in Carroll County, he graduated from Rockfield High School. He was married to Evelyn May Zebrowski on June 21, 1942, at Camden, IN; she survives.

Mr. Mullin, who had lived in the Lafayette area since 1952, had been a painter at Purdue University, and he also farmed. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Masonic Lodge at Camden for more than 50 years, and the American Legion at Delphi. He served in the Army from 1942-1945, during World War II. His hobbies were gardening and camping.

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Donna (Mrs. James) Janssen of Lafayette; four sisters, Nancy Mullen, Geraldine Rice, Adriene McCain, all of Delphi, and Martha Spenser of Anderson; two grandchildren, Michelle Conwell of Wolcott and Todd Janssen of Lafayette; and great-grandson, Tommy Conwell. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Jill Janssen; brother, David Mull; and sister, Amy Snipes.
