Robert W. Clelland, 67, Anderson, died at 2:35 pm, Tuesday, November 4, 2003, at St. John's Hospital, Anderson.

He was bron February 24, 1936, in Peru, Indiana, to John and Clara Clelland. He was a 1954 graduate of Peru High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson.

Survivors include three daughters, Call Willhoit and husband Greg, Nancy McGill, and Bobbie Smith and husband Danny, all of Anderson; three sisters, Dorothy Van Scoy and Patty Stone, both of Peru, and Nancy Baker, Crete, Illinois. Three grandchildren Brent, Stephanie, and Austin Willhoit; a great-granddaughter Madisyn Willhoit, a special friend, Barbara Bilbrey; and loyal companions Hilda, Angel, and Sam.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Townsend; a special friend , Mary Costerison; and the mother of his children, Anita Clelland.

Graveside funeral services at Park Lawn Cemetery; Amboy, with the Reverend John Hess officiating. Military graveside rites provided by Miami County VFW Post 2067 and Peru American Legion Glen Owens.
