Obituary
Miss Bridget B. Luddy
Miss Bridget B. Luddy, daughter of Mrs. Hanora Luddy of 85 Charles St., died at St. Vincent's Hospital, New York at 12:30 o'clock this morning. The news of her death was a shock to her family as she was in the usual good health when last heard from, two days ago. The cause of death is not yet known to the family.
Her brothers, accompanied by Undertaker McEvoy, left on the 6:35 train this morning to bring the remains home. The funeral arrangements will be announced later, and friends are kindly requested not to send flowers.
Miss Luddy was a graduate nurse of St. Vincent's Hospital and practiced in New York City with great success. She was a most estimable character, and won the love and esteem not only of those to whom she ministered in her profession but of a wide circle of friends. She was well known in Waterbury where she spent her life previous to taking up her life work and especially in the Brooklyn district, where a large family circle has long resided. She leaves her mother; six brothers, Thomas, Timothy F., Peter and John of this city, William of Bridgeport and Patrick B. of Ansonia; and five sisters, Mrs. John F. Gorman, Mrs. M. Mitchell, Mrs. Morgan T. Burke, and the Misses Nora and Annie L. Luddy.
