Curtis R. Guise
Curtis R. GUISE, 55, Culver, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday in Parkview hospital in Plymouth following an extended illness.
Born Dec. 20, 1917, near Leiters Ford, he was the son of Harley and Clara BITTERLING GUISE. His marriage was March 21, 1942, in Winamac to Mary E. CRANE, who survives. He was an electrician at the Culver Military Academy and a lifetime resident of the Culver and Leiters Ford area. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church.
Surviving are one son, Stephen C. GUISE, Culver; one daughter, Mrs. Randy (Mary Jane) BOLTON, Tallahassee, Fla.; his father, Harley Guise, R.R. 4, Rochester; one brother, Milo P. GUISE, Decatur, O.; four sisters, Mrs. Hurshel (Beulah) MILLISER, Rochester; Mrs. Clair (Betty Jane) STRONG, R.R. 3, Rochester; Mrs. Raymond (Joann) TULEY, Gary, and Mrs. Hugh (Wiletta) WILSON, Kewanna.
Final rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Wesley United Methodist church at Culver. The Rev. Earl W. SHARP will officiate. Burial will be in the Bruce Lake cemetery. Friends may call at the Bonine funeral home in Culver after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The family has requested that memorials other than flowers be made to the Heart Fund.
