Please let us all try to be civil to one another.
We are all engaged in the work of connecting families, and even if someone has made a mistake, it isn't intentional.

Family names researching include-- Dennis, Smith, Showley, Stauffer, Porter, Bruce, Overmyer/Overmire, Rhodes/Rhoads, Soliday, Bader, Oudin, Lalouette, Hicks, Baade, Larson, Paulson, Keller, Berg, Hovland, Rönning, Evanson, Moen, Weber, Haugen, Reed, Patterson, Strode, Hopkins, Horton, Orwig, Ward, Stallings, Richards, etc.

Please feel free to use any of my photos for personal family history purposes, such as adding to your relatives on FamilySearch, Ancestry or FindMyPast. That is why I do this work, to help others connect to their family.

Note—
The Dept. of Defense rules are that a person can only use a military title if they meet one of the following parameters:

1) Passed away in combat while serving their county,

2) Retired after 20 or more years of military service

3) Passed away while active in the military.

If they served at any time, they can have a headstone, and the rank is listed below the name, not as part of their name, unless they meet one of those qualifications. I am trying to correct headstones I manage to meet this rules. So if you add an edit for a military rank to be added to a name, please make sure the above rules are met.
