Wiletta Wilson, 87, of Rochester and formerly of Kewanna, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Center for Hospice Care South Bend.
Born on Jan. 22, 1925, in Leiters Ford, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Clara (Bitterling) Guise. On Feb. 21, 1943, she married Hugh D. Wilson, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2004.
Wiletta was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Luther Ann's. She was a senior volunteer person, and she had also volunteered at the ministerial food pantry of Fulton County. Wiletta enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Survivors include her children, Thomas M. Wilson and wife Linda, of Granger, and Ann M. Michael and husband Robin, of Avon; sisters, Beulah Milliser, of Rochester, and Betty Strong, of Richland Center; and grandchildren, Shaun Wilson, of Anderson, Mark Wilson, of Granger, and Scott Wilson, of Granger.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Curtis Guise and Milo Guise; and sister, Joanne Tuley.
Service is at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester, with Pastor Jim Wasmuth officiating. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel, and also one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will be at Bruce Lake Cemetery.
