John Henry Meeler,79, of 1631 Buckhead Road, died Thursday, October 23, 1997. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Meeler was a son of the late Hattie Lee Brown and Grover Cleveland Meeler. He was a cotton farmer.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Simmons funeral home with the Rev. Freddie Bell Officiating. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Park.
Servivors include four sister, Willie Mae Meeler, Madison, Beatrice M Daws, Monroe, Doris Parker, St. Louis, and Barbara Campbell, Royston; and four brothers, G.C. Meeler. Evansville, Ind., Milford Meeler, Monroe, and Ernest Meeler and Ralph Meeler, both of Madison.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
