Doris Parker (nee Meeler), Springfield, Missouri, passed away January 26, 2023 at the age of 92 years, 8 months, 6 days. Mrs. Parker was born May 20, 1930 in Maysville, Georgia to Grover Cleveland and Hattie Lee (nee Brown) Meeler. She was united in marriage to Herman Parker on June 21, 1947 in Madison, Georgia. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Herman, 2 sons, Herman Parker Jr and Ronald Parker, her siblings, Carl Meeler, Guy Meeler, John Meeler, Mary Lee Meeler, Willie Mae Meeler, Beatrice Daws, Grover Cleveland Meeler, Milford Meeler, Ralph Meeler, Ernest Lee Meeler, and Barbara Campbell.

She is survived by her children, Sandra and husband Roger Mosley, Claude and wife Brenda Parker, Sharon and husband Kimber Parker-Hamilton, Kimberly and husband Dan Whalen; her grandchildren, Tammy Hass, Chad Mosley, Shane Parker, Nicole Parker-Short, Jacob Whalen and Joshua Whalen; great-grandchildren Katherine Sue Whalen, other relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. Parker attended the Baptist Church. She was an amazing cook, she liked to play bingo, gardening, had an impish sense of humor. She had a "magic biscuit bowl" and made home bread three times a day.

Funeral services for Mrs. Parker are Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.
Interments is in Brush Creek Cemetery, Villa Ridge, Missouri.
