Mrs. C. F. AUSTIN, 78, resident of Richmond for 57 years, expired Tuesday afternoon at her home. Mrs. Austin, whose maiden name was Mary Alice Robinson, was a native of Mississippi, and was the daughter of John Robinson and Annie Rebecca Finch. She married the late C. F. Austin. She was a long-time member of the Methodist church. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Annie Bell Thompson and Mrs. Anne Austin, both of Richmond; Mrs. J. H. Caldwell of Freeport, Mrs. M. P. Cartwright of Alvin; a son, C. F. Austin, Jr. of Richmond; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
