Funeral services for Alice E. Cartwright, 72, of Alvin, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg. Mrs. Cartwright died in Methodist Hospital in Houston Thursday.
She is survived by her husband, M.P. Cartwright of Alvin; two daughters, Laura Walger of Richmond and Ouida Gartman of Austin; two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Caldwell of Freeport and Annie Bell Thompson of Richmond; one brother, C.F. Austin Sr. of Richmond; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Friends may call at Davis Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday.
