Scott Buyckes began his journey when he was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Coweta, OK to Curtis H. and Willie Mae (Lazenby) Buyckes. Both parents, three sisters (Rosa Lee Buyckes, Ellen Jones and Earlene Brice) and three brothers (Clarence Buyckes, Frank Buyckes and Ruben Buyckes) preceded him in death. Scott departed this life on May 12, 2000, in Tulsa, OK. Their are two living sister, Katie Buyckes and Marie Galloway of Tulsa.

Scott rededicated his life to Christ, joined Northside Christian Center and upon his confession of faith was baptized May 23, 1999.

His favorite Psalm was Psalm 1. Scott loved prayer, praise and worship and would seek the Lord early in the morning, attending 5:00 a.m. prayer regulary at Northside Christian Center. He retired for Blue Circle Cement after 30 years of service. After retirement he worked as a School Guard, where he was employed until his death. His hobbies were working on cars, gardening and telling others about Jesus.

May God bless and keep us all until we meet Scott in Glory.
