Abraham (sometimes called Abram) Reger Simon was born June 9, 1850 in VA and died November 7, 1934 in NE.
He was the son of George Simon & Celia Reger Simon. He was the brother of my great grandfather, Jacob Elam Simon. Other siblings included Letha, Mary, Rebecca & John.
This family came from Lewis Co, VA and settled in Northern MO before the Civil War.
Abram married Mary Jane Wine. Mary is also buried here at Tecumseh. Abram & Mary had 5 children: Bessie, James, Joseph, Walter & Guy. This family homesteaded near Devil's Tower in Wyoming for a number of years but after their family was grown & after Mary died, Abram returned to MO for a period of time but eventually settled back in NE where he passed away in 1934.
