Joseph Kiefer, Sr.
Joseph Kiefer, one of the oldest residents of this section, died yesterday at the home of his grandson, Peter J. Kiefer, in Williams Township, in the 93rd year of his age. He had made his home with his grandson during the past five years. Mr. Kiefer had been in ill health during the past year, and was seriously ill the past two weeks.
Deceased was twice married and had eight children. Both wives and all the children, with the exception of Mrs. Levi Seifert, preceded him to the grave. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township.
