Mrs. Emma Dorothy Kiefer Seifert, widow of Levi Seifert, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin P. Richards, 1613 Butler Street, Wilson, at 9 o'clock last evening of a complication of ailments. She had been in failing health for some time and had been confined to her bed for the past week. Mrs. Seifert would have been 86 years of age on June 21, next.

She was born in Easton and resided in this section all her life. Mrs. Seifert was the oldest of seven children and was the last surviving member of her family. She was a daughter of the long deceased Joseph and Wilhelmina Eichman Kiefer.

Deceased was the mother of 10 children, six of whom are living. They are Joseph, of Easton; Purman, of Williams Township, Mrs. Irwin P. Richards, with whom she resided; Mrs. Monroe Protzman of Williams Township; Mrs. William C. Merwarth and Mrs. Irwin Steckel, of Easton. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Seifert was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Williams Township.
