Mrs. Millicent Pickens West, 78, wife of George L. West, of 1277 Maple avenue, died about 10:30 o'clock Sunday night in Good Samaritan hospital, following two weeks' illness.
Mrs. West was born Aug. 3, 1866, in Newcastle, Ind., the daughter of John C. and Martha Oden Pickens. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Mrs. S. A. Weller, 58 North Sixth street; two nieces, Mrs. Ethel Weller Curphey, of 934 Convers avenue, and Mrs. Herminie Pickens Weber, of North Sixth street.
The body was removed to the Hearing-Bryan-DeLong funeral home.
