ARNOLD MUELLER

Arnold R. Mueller, 83, of 1807 North Thirteenth Street, Sheboygan, died Thursday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital where he had been a patient the past five days. Born March 2, 1893 in Kiel, the son of Rudolph and Mary Essling Mueller, he moved to the town of Schleswig as a child and attended district school at Rockville. On June 26, 1918 he married Lydia Schreiber at St. John's United Church of Christ, Schwartzwald. After their marriage, the couple lived in Kiel, where he was employed at Stoelting Brothers Company for 16 years. They then moved to a farm in the town of Meeme, which they operated until retirement in 1958. They moved to Sheboygan in 1971. The couple observed their 55th Wedding anniversary in 1973. Mr. Mueller was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, a former member and treasurer of the Pigeon River School, and a former member of the Meeme Farm Bureau.
Survivors are his widow; three sons, Clyde of Route 1, Cleveland, Roger of Sheboygan and Bruce of Howards Grove; six grandchildren and four sisters; Mrs. Ella Koeser of Sheboygan, Mrs. Esther Mattes and Mrs. Wilma Kenneke, both of Kiel, and Mrs. Dora Manz of Cascade, and a step-brother, Elmer Lindemann of Antigo.
