Bruce Mueller, 84, of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Cornerstone Home, Pine Haven Christian Communities - Haven Drive Campus in Sheboygan Falls.
Bruce was born January 29, 1932 in Kiel son to the late Arnold and Lydia (Schreiber) Mueller. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1949. Bruce served in the Army from 1954 through 1956. On May 23, 1959, he married Janet Rudebeck at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Together, they lived in Howards Grove until 1988 when they moved to Sheboygan Falls.
Bruce was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. He worked on the family farm, at Schwartz Service Station and Sheboygan County Highway Department. During his career as a mechanic, Bruce left a legacy of service. He served and volunteered in varied roles: Howards Grove Fire Department, Village Constable, Village Board Trustee and in retirement St Paul’s Usher and Finance Committee and Falls Food Pantry.
Bruce is survived by his sons; Steven (Kari) Mueller of Eagan, Minnesota, Terry Mueller, friend Stacy Anthes of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin and grandchildren Diana, Marshall and Hans Mueller of Eagan, Minnesota. Bruce is survived by brother Roger Mueller of Sheboygan, sister-in-law Charlotte Lamb of Sheboygan, brothers-in-law Ferris Rudebeck of Sheboygan Falls, Bernard (Maureen) Rudebeck of Sheboygan Falls and Richard (Barbara) Rudebeck of Sheboygan Falls; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Janet, his parents, parents-in-law Leslie and Sophie (Herzog) Rudebeck, brother and sister-in-law Clyde and Betty Mueller, brother-in-law Jim Lamb, sister-in-law Vonnie Rudebeck, daughter-in-law Cheri (Schmidt) Mueller.
Friends may call on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road (Hwy 42 and County JJ). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 12:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. The Reverend Tom Gudmundson, will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Entombment will follow services at the Garden of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
