Clyde A. Mueller, age 91, Sheboygan Falls, passed away January 29, 2016 at St. Nicholas Hospital. He was born in Kiel on November 13, 1924, a son of the late Arnold and Lydia (Schreiber) Mueller. Clyde attended Pigeon River School and was a 1942 graduate of Howards grove High School.On May 17, 1947 Betty Wesener and Clyde were united in marriage at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in the town of Mosel. After marriage, the couple farmed on the Wesener Homestead, purchasing the farm in 1956. She preceded him in death on September 10, 2014.Clyde was on the church council of the former St. Paul's UCC in the town of Mosel and the cemetery board of St. Paul's; later he was President of the Consistory of St. Johns UCC, Schwarzwald where he was also in the Men's Brotherhood. For over 46 years, Clyde served as the Assessor for the towns of Herman, Meeme and St. Nazianz. He served on the Manitowoc County Board as District 13 Supervisor, and served and the planning & zoning committee as well as other various committees.In his spare time, Clyde enjoyed driving school bus for over 16 years for the Harms Bus Company in Howards Grove. Betty and Clyde enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and were in various card clubs since 1956.Survivors include two sons, Russell (Lisa) Mueller, Kiel and Scott (Tami) Mueller, Lone Rock; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) Heim, Cleveland, Daniel Mueller, Pullman, WA and Amanda Mueller, Madison; two brothers, Roger Mueller, Sheboygan and Bruce Mueller, Sheboygan Falls.A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ - Schwarzwald (W3401 Orchard Road, Elkhart Lake) with the Rev. Melinda Feller officiating. Friends may call on Monday, at the church, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment services will be held at St. Paul's Cemetery in the town of Mosel.
