Elsie C. Seipel, 92, of 3614 N. Rochelle Lane died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at Methodist Medical Center. Born Dec. 13, 1905, in Kewanee to George and Agnes Augguson Forbes, she married Harlan E. Burgess. She later married Floyd Seipel on Oct. 26, 1937, in Burlington, Iowa. He died March 29, 1987, in Peoria. Two sons, Eugene Burgess and Harlan Burgess, five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Burgess of Brimfield and Howard Burgess of Peoria; one daughter, Mary Jean Seipel-Hastings of Peoria; two brothers, Clifton Forbes of Vancouver, Wash., and Leslie Forbes of Peoria; one sister, Emma Forbes of Creve Coeur.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
