JANESVILLE — John G. Abraham, 75, Janesville died at his home Thursday afternoon after an extended illness of about five years. He was born Feb. 23, 1892, at Smiths Mill. He farmed in that vicinity most of his life. He was a member of the Janesville Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Irma; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Werdin of Janesville; sons, Warren and Wallace of rural Janesville; brother Gus of Elbow Lake, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Saturday at the Janesville Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the Arnoldt Funeral Home until Saturday noon and at the church before the service. Burial will be at the Smiths Mill Cemetery.
