Anna Lou was born into a large family in Pritchett, a community in East Texas to John Buford and Nora Ellen (Morgan) Landers.
She had several brothers and sisters, and the entire family loved to sing together, Their mother, who was from the well-known singing Morgan family, encouraged them to sing at an early age. They all had a lovely voices.
Anna Lou married James Presley Craig of Upshur County, Texas, and together they had 5 children
James, Mary Emma, Lou Ann,Nelda,and Elna Ellen
Later she married Willie Drozd. They resided in Houston, Texas at the time of her death.
