This was my great-grandfather and father of Gretchen Wiseman my grandmother. He was the son of Daniel Marion Midkiff and Dolly Ann Allen.

Thomas F. Midkiff, 79 year old retired miner of South Charleston Rt 7, died yesterday at his home after a long illness.
He was a lifelong Kanawha County resident.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; four daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Wiseman and Mrs. Helen Bayne of Charleston, and Mrs. Lucille Thompson and Mrs. Ithel Smith of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Gilmer of Huntington, a brother, Ode of Alum Creek; a sister, Mrs. Lyda Pauley of Rt. 7, and 10 grandchildren.
The body is at the Curry Funeral Home at Alum Creek.
