Warren C. Barrus, Retired Farmer, to Be Buried Friday
Warren C. Barrus, 83, retired farmer, died at the house of his daughter, Mrs. Leon A. Bennet, in Red Creek Wednesday morning. He had been ill about a month.
Mr. Barrus was born in Euclid and had resided in that section most of his life. He had lived with his daughter the last seven years. He was a member of the Golden Rule Lodge, I.O.O.F. of Phoenix.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Harley Beebe of Liverpool; a son, Edward W. Barrus, and a stepson, Grover C. Cole, both of Liverpool.
I. L. Tucker & Son, Liverpool funeral directors, brought the body to the home of Mrs. Beebe, 405 Bass Street, where services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Elvin B. Granger, pastor of Liverpool Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery.
