Mrs. Gustav Guse, life-long resident of town Theresa, was called by death early Monday morning, after having been ill for the past seven months with a liver disease. She had been seriously ill for only one week.

The deceased was born in town Theresa on Feb. 5, 1860, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schultz. On Nov. 23, 1881, she was married to Gustav Guse, who survives with their six children, Alfred, at home, Adolph, in Chicago; Max, of this city; Martin, Fond du Lac; Angela, Mrs. Alfred Pribnow, of near Horicon; and Linda, Mrs. Paul Pribnow, town Theresa. One brother, Martin Schultz, San Diego, Calif., also survives. One son, Edgar, preceded the mother in death.

Last rites will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late home in town Theresa to St. Jacob's church, one mile east of the homestead. The Rev. Otto C. Toepel will be in charge of the services, and burial will be in the Kekoskee cemetery.
