Mrs. Lenora A. Weber, 75, of Strasburg, died at the Decatur-Macon County Hospital, Friday morning March 29. Following a prayer service at the Weber residence, the funeral service was conducted on Sunday, March 31, 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, pastors G. A. Lueck and A. J. Goldberger officiating. Interment was made in Grace Cemetery. The pallbearers were O. O. Kull, L. R. Hamm, Robert Merriman, Dale Young, Carl Kull and Ivan Keller. In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Clarence Pfeiffer and Mrs. Louis Stremming, assisted by Mrs. Harold Nippe, Mrs. Sara Armstrong, Mrs. Darlene Moomaw, Mrs. Ann Tapscott and Miss Phyllis Kull. The deceased was born January 24, 1882, in Herborn, Prairie Township, the daughter of John W. Falk and Anna nee Giesler. On Jul. 30, 1882, she was baptized by the Rev. Schlecte of Trinity Lutheran Church, Stewardson. She was confirmed as a member of Trinity Congregation on May 26, 1895, by the Rev. Kollmorgan. On May 4, 1903 she was united in marriage to Thomas A. Weber by the Rev. August Werfemann. The Webers resided in Strasburg, where Mr. Weber became a prominent business man until his death on February 3, 1945. Mrs. Weber was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was a charter member of the Ladies’ Aid Society in which she held active membership until ill health overtook her. Surviving are three children, two sons, Max F. Weber and Floyd E. Weber of Strasburg and one daughter, Miss Marie Weber of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Eva Leeper of Sidney; two daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
