COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Beulah Betty Bowman, 79, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., June 19, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, Fri., June 18, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bowman died on Thurs., June 17, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1919, in Jackson County to the late Howard and Lily Chaffin Mayberry. Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Her family includes a daughter, Barbara Bowman of Cookeville; two sons, Raymond and Bill Bowman, both of Cookeville; three sisters, Lurel Dunn, Jean Roberts and Eloris Hensley, all of Cookeville; three brothers, Clifton and Sheldon Mayberry, both of Cookeville and Earl Mayberry of McMinnville; a grandson, Mike Bowman of Cookeville; and a great-granddaughter, Rebekah Jeanine Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, M.W. (Dutch) Bowman.

Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate at the services.
