82-year-old Native of Kiski Valley Succumbs During Early Morning
SERVICES TUESDAY
Mrs. Anna May Hilty, aged 82, Parks township, Vandergrift, R.D. 1, died at the home of her son, Dr. A.D. Hilty, Oklahoma, at 2:40 this morning following an illness of four weeks. She was born on December 31, 1871, in Apollo, a daughter of Daniel B. and Martha Leisure Slagle.
Services today
Friends will be received at eh Dunmire Funeral home, 244 Franklin avenue, where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. R. C. Duffenberger, pastor of the First Lutheran church, in charge and the Rev. Walter Kennedy, Kittanning, assisting. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, A. Murton Hilty, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. John Akers, Vandergrift, and Mrs. Edward Keller, Mont Lebanon; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Heasley, Templeton, and Mrs. Ine D. Kinghton, Ambridge, and a brother, Nye Slagle, El Paso,Tex. She was a member of the Rebeckah lodge, the American Legion, Auxiliary and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
