Native of Templeton Fatally Hurt After Leaving Street Car
As the result of injuries received on August 16th when she was struck by a taxi cab upon alighting from a street car in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Florence McCain Bush, daughter of the late Daniel Slagle, of Templeton, died in the Southside hospital, Pittsburgh, Tuesday night. Mrs. Bush was aged 60 years and was born in Templeton. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Meyers, of Pittsburgh, one son, Henry McCain, Apollo, and nine grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Martha Slagle, of Templeton, and the following brothers and sisters also survive; Mrs. Cora Smith and Mrs. A.M. Hilty, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Morris Knighton, Ambridge; Mrs. Edna Hulings, Vandergrift; Mrs. C.C. Heasley, Templeton; Ney Slagle, Youngstown, Ohio. The remains will be taken to the home of Mrs. Martha Slagle at templeton Friday evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Church of God, Templeton, Rev. E.E. Starr and Rev Walter Kennedy, officiating. Interment in the Cochrane grave yard. Mrs. Bush was a member of the Pittsburgh Bible Institute.
