Funeral services for M. A. Hilty of Vandergrift, who died March 17, 1958, the the Fair Rest Home, 200 Allegheny Avenue, Kittanning, were held Thursday afternoon in Dunmire Funeral Home, Vandergrift.
Services were in charge of Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of Templeton and Goheenville Presbyterian churches; two hymms, "Come ye Disconsolate" and "O' Love That Will Not Let Me Go," were read during the service.
Burial was made in Greenwood Memorial Park, Casket bearers were George Heasley, John Hulings, Richard Slagle, August Frye, Joseph Wagner, and Loren Burkett.

Murton Hilty, 87, Hancock Ave. Extension, Oklahoma, died at 6 p.m. Monday (March 17, 1958) in the Fair Rest Home, Applewold, following a lingering illness. The retired steel worker was born May 24, 1870 in Apollo, a son of the late Albert and Harriet (Hine) Hilty. Fraternal affiliations were with the Vandergrift Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. Hilty also belonged to the Veteran Steelworkers Association. Survivors include a son, Dr. A. D. Hilty of Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. John W. (Edna) Akers, Vandergrift and Mrs. Edward (Martha) Keller, Mt. Lebanon; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Dunmire funeral home, Vandergrift until time of services, (2 p.m. Thursday). Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of Templeton Presbyterian Church, will officiate, with burial in Greenwood memorial Park.
