Albert Simmons 72, died 30 Jan 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a long illness.
He was born 14 Jun 1898 in Charleston, Wasatch, Utah to George W. and Sarah Sophia Winterton Simmons. He married Nettie May Prescott 1 Oct 1924 in Coalville, Utah. Their marriage was later solmenized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was a retired farmer, miner, employee of Deseret Industries.
Survivors are: Widow, Nettie sons; Dale (Loella) Simmons and Doyle (Mary Jean) Simmons, both of Francis, utah; daughter, Rita (Elmer) Andreason, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Jesse Simmons of Chester, Utah, Sylvan (Lucinda) Simmons of Brigham City, Utah, Ernest (Addie) Simmons ofCenter Creek, Utah, William (Alice) Simmons of Heber City, Utah; sister Ellen (Melvin) Eatough of Eureka, Utah.
Funeral services were held 2 Feb 1971 in the Francis LDS Ward Chapel. He is buried in the Francis, Utah Cemetery.
