Harrell married Ida Lee Alexander in Amarillo on July 22, 1942. She passed away in 1985. Harrell was a retired linesman for Fort Belknap Electric Company, working for the company from 1944-1983. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and an Olney resident for 43 years. His survivors include two sons, Harrell Ray of Iowa Park and Jerry Don of Olney; four sisters, Ida Mae Smith of Edmond, OK, Dorothy Jenkins and Oneta Nippert, both of Dallas and Floetta Harman of Texhoma, TX, and brothers, Doyle of Archer City, TX, and Howard and C. D., both of Perryton, TX; and five grandchildren.
