Ermine Louise Robbins was his first wife, she was the daughter of, William Nelson Robbins.

Howard F. Riggins, 82, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Geary Martin officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Riggins was a truck driver for the electric company. He was a member of Scottish Rite, Masons and Shriners. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Perryton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enis and Ella Riggins; his wife, Mattie Riggins in 2001; a son, Howard Wayne Riggins; a grandson, Johnny Riggins; and a stepson, Patrick Downs.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Jacobs of Phenix City, Ala.; two sons, Johnny Riggins of Westminster, Calif., and Paul Alexander of Lewisville; two stepdaughters, Carol Williams of Amarillo and Ronda Williams of Perryton; a stepson, Michael Downs of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Cagle David Riggins of Perryton and Doyle Edward Riggins of Archer City; a sister, Flo Harman
of Texhoma; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Ochiltree Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070; or Shriner's Hospital for Burned and Crippled Children, 815 Market St., Galveston, TX 77550.
