William A. Anderson died at the home of his son, H.L.L. Anderson, 423 State Street, yesterday afternoon, ath the advanced age of 77years, 8 months and 26 days.

Deceased was born in ANew York City June 5, 1823, and was married to Miss Elizabeth Luther of Lake county, Illinois, November 1, 1855. To them ten children, five girls and five boys were born all of whom are now living.

The family moved from Illinois to Denver in 1860 where they lived until 1864, returning east to Iowa, where they lived until the children had finished their eduction.

The mother died in Iowa May 9 1878, but Mr. Anderson kept his family together until all the children were of age and had established themselves in business.

In 1892 deceased again came to Colorado taking up his residence in Trinidad and has since resied here.

Four sons are residents of Trinidad-W.E. Anderson, at the head of the business college, A.P. Anderson, county attorney, H.L.L. Anderson and John Anderson, These have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their bereavement.
