Frances Maranda Dixon, daughter of Hilliard and Eliza. Granddaughter of Matthew Dixon and Polly Hill-Dixon. She married Pleasant "Pleas" F. Thompson, Feb., 2, 1862. Born to them; Thomas Franklin-1863, Robert Henderson-1864, Sallie-1867, Hulda Brinson-1869, Leota Tennessee"Tenny"-1872, and Rufus A.-1874. Frances died in 1898, and Pleas died in 1927, near Melbourne, Ar. May she rest in peace.
