Julius Theodor Woltman was born in Borowko, Posen, Germany to Michael and Henriette Heth Woltman. He married Amalie Juliana Bloch and they had two sons, Bruno Max and Wilhelm Michael. In 1891, they came to America aboard the SS Fulda, arriving at the port of New York. From there, they made their way to Texas, settling first at Welcome in Austin County and then at Burton in Washington County. Sometime after 1930, they moved to Houston, where Julius died in 1935.
