Michael and Henriette had eight children, seven of whom also came to Texas between 1884 and 1891: Julius, Caroline, Auguste, Gustav, Karl, August, and Emma. Michael and Henriette resided in Welcome (Austin County) and later in Latium (Washington County). Michael died in Latium in 1907.
