Arthur Kluzak of Keystone Township, Polk County, near Tabor, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly at his farm home on Friday evening, January 8, 1960.

Funeral services for Arthur Kluzak were held on Tuesday morning, January 12, 1960 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor, Minnesota with the Reverend John Merth officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Emil, Joe, and Albert Vonasek and Tom, Paul, and Walter Kluzak. Honorary pallbearers were Anton Sirek, Tom Knute, John Mack, Earl Enright, Ralph Maruska, Frank Novacek, Frank Vonasek, and George Krejei.

Arthur Kluzak was born on February 29, 1880 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jan and Mary (Pekarek) Kluzak. He came to the Tabor area with his parents and siblings in 1883. Arthur grew to manhood and received his education in the Tabor community. Arthur was united in marriage to Anna Sirek in 1908 in Tabor, Minnesota and to this union six sons were born. He was a blacksmith in Tabor until 1921 when he began farming. Anna passed away on August 31, 1928. Arthur married Albina (Kosobud) Swartz.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Albina; five sons, Clarence Kluzak, Steve Kluzak, and Frank Kluzak, all of Bemidji, Minnesota; Albert Kluzak of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Alvin Kluzak of Euclid, Minnesota; step-son, LeRoy Swartz of Crookston, Minnesota; four brothers, Joseph Kluzak of Euclid, Minnesota, and James Kluzak, Edward Kluzak and Charles Kluzak, all of Tabor; one sister, Rose, Mrs. Frank Vonasek of Tabor; and 13 grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna; son, Thomas Kluzak at one year of age; brother, Jan Kluzak; sister, Anna Machal; and his parents.
