He grew to manhood on a farm west of Cotesfield and on November 12, 1924 was married to Miss Mariane Nielsen at Grand Island, Nebraska He was employed in the Cotesfield bank until 1933 then moved to a farm west of Elba. Adam had been an assessor for his precinct for the past 5 years, and assisted in the Elba and Cotesfield banks.
He was ailing for several month and three weeks ago entered the Ord, Nebraska hospital for medical treatment. He died early Friday evening.
His parents, three brothers, Ralph, George and Clarence and two sisters preceded him in death Surviving are his wile Mariane three brothers, John A., of Her.man, Phillip, of Scotia, Cecil, of Lincoln; five sisters, Mrs. Lucy Vlach of Cotesfield, Mrs. Agnes King of Grand Island, Mrs. Helen Horky, of Ravenna, Mrs. Josie Hughes, of Scotia and Mrs. Kathryn Lukesh of Port Townsend, Washington; three aunts, Mrs. Josie Weiker of Cotesfield, Mrs Mary Halla and Mrs. Mary Tuma of Elba.
