Brother of: Isaac "Ike"; Lucius, Belle; Thomas Sylvester "Tom"; Hiram "Hi" Barney and Henry Trimond "Trim" Norris.

Half-brother of: Izabel; William; Elizabeth "Betsy Ann"; Martha J and John A. Norris [children of his father by a previous marriage] and John J. Arnold [child of his mother by a previous marriage].

Grandson of John Green Murray and Rachel Beverly [maternal] and William Norris and Delisen Powell [paternal];

Great grandson of William Beverly and Unknown spouse of Ware County, Georgia and Jehu Jackson Styles Murray and Sabra Dyess of Ware County, Georgia.

A Norris descendent said that Frank was a "woods rider" who came home one day, went to bed and died. Woods riders rode the timber on horseback to guarantee that the timber and turpentine workers were doing their jobs, basically overseers of the isolated workers. One can only wonder what happened that day to an apparently robust, healthy young man to cause his demise at such an early age.
