Born on Dec. 18, 1861, Priscilla Elizabeth was the daughter of John and Cyrena (Fort) English. In an unusual coincidence, she was married to John Elias Belcher on Aug. 7, 1879, the same day her mother was buried. They were the parents of ten children: Charles Lewis, Oscar Ned, Grace Ann, Rosella, Lou Estila, Julia May, Costello James, Isaac Paul, Edgar Raymond and Ethel Delia. She passed away on Apr. 18, 1904.

The deceased was born in this state and was 45 years of age. She leaves eight children: Charles, Oscar, Isaac and Edward Belcher, Rose Keeney, Grace, Mary and Ethel Belcher. She also leaves two brothers Isaac and Joseph English and two sisters, Anna Ragsdale, Julia Bowman. Mrs. Belcher was a member of the First Christian Church. Funeral services were held at Poplar Grove Church, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in the church cemetery.
