The obituary for Hiram W. Bennett stated that he had died at his home in Ash Grove, May 19, 1910. He was born in Shelby county, Jun. 8, 1866. He married Minnie Curry, Mar. 10, 1895. To this union were born two sons, Ralph, age 12, Howard, age 7. Also surviving besides wife and children were three sisters and three brothers. Burial at Ash Grove.
