JOSEPH C. WILLIAMS -
Jospeh C. Williams was born at Metz, Indiana, May 26 1853, and died at his home on January 3 1929 in his 75 year.
On December 21 1875, he was united in marriage to Mary Tingler. To this union four children were born. Ora C., Jessie, Now Mrs Roy Rozelle, Mina, now Mrs. Albert Wells and Pearl, now Mrs. Ellis Wills.
Mr. Williams leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, one son, three daughters, two brothers, Richard Williams of Jackson, Mich., Geo. Williams of Angola, and one sister, Mrs Emma Moor of Metz, Ind., six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many friends.
Mr. Williams lived on a farm in Otsego township until the spring of 1914, when they moved to their present home.
On January 27 1900, Mr. Williams became a member of Angola lodge I.O.O.F. was also a member of Heaten Encampment and Pleasant Rebekah ladge he has always remained an active and faithful member.
Mr Williams was ever at work and seemed happiest when busy. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father and friend and his going it can be said, "he has done what he could and has now entered into a well earned rest.
Funeral sevices were held at the late home Sunday, January 6, 1929 at 2:00 o'clock p.m. under the auspices of Angola Lodge I.O.O.F. Rev. John Humphreys officiating minister.
