Miss Mary Elizabeth Williams was born near Alliance, Ohio., Dec 26 1838 and died Sept 15 1914, aged 75 years, 8 months and 10 days. She moved with her parents to Steuben County, Ind., in 1851 and spent the rest of her life near Metz, whence she departed to enter into her rest. She leaves to mourn, two sisters Cyrus Sutton and Mrs. Marcus Moor, of Metz; four brothers, Richard Williams of Jackson Mich., Joseph Williams, of Angola, D.A. Williams, and Geo. Williams of Metz, and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Pleasant U. B. Church by Pastor Charles A. Clay, with interment in the cemetery adjoining. "Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is, that I may know how frail I am."
