Hannah M. Gilbert was born in Manallen township, Adams county, Penn.,
Oct. 30, 1818; died in Otsego township, Feb. 8, 1903, aged 84 years, 3
months and 8 days.
While young, she with her parents moved to Otsego township, Steuben
county, Ind., where she lived until her death. At the age of seventeen
she was married to Aaron Williams. To this union were born thirteen
children, six boys and seven girls, ten of whom are living. Her husband
died in 1893. At the age of forty she became a member of the U. B.
church, always remaining true to her faith. She was a kind wife and
mother and leaves a large number of children, grandchildren and great-
grandchildren and many friends to mourn their loss.
